His background is in Ecology, GIS and he brings over 20 years of experience from the Netherlands, UK and Kenya.

Jody Eijsenga is cross cultural trainer at Upande who has a passion for making diverse organizations work the way they should. Jody holds a degree in cultural anthropology (MSc), social work (BSc), and recently added a degree in education. She has experience in training both individuals as well as teams, and she loves to see people and teams not only recognize and understand diversity, but also celebrate and strategize it.

Mumo is Sales & Marketing veteran with over 15 years’ experience in business development. He was Head of Marketing for EMC Canada then East Africa Sales Manager with DellEMC. He joined Cellulant in 2016 and later joined Pula. He transitioned from advisory council member to a partner in the course of 2024.

Catherine is a passionate and self-driven HR Generalist with 15 years’ experience. I have extensive hands-on experience and utilize my broad-based expertise to align company goals and objectives in HR Service Delivery, Employee Life Cycle, HR Policy Development & Implementation, Recruiting & Talent Management Outside work, Catherine loves farming, travelling and adventure.

Daniel Kariuki is a full-stack software developer. He is tasked in the development, deployment and maintenance of our ERP solutions, integration with third-party systems like payment gateways and sensors. He is proficient in ERP automation to create maximized solutions so that input by the user is minimized while the data output is high and decently visualized to enable consumers to monitor their enterprises and make data-driven decisions. Outside of work, he enjoys researching on tech, swimming and playing hockey.

Daniel Ngacha the driving force behind Upande's IoT initiatives in the role of Head of IoT. With a wealth of experience and a visionary mindset, Daniel leads the charge in shaping the future of our digital landscape. Their leadership is instrumental in harnessing the transformative potential of the Internet of Things, ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of innovation, from designing cutting-edge solutions to spearheading security measures and foreseeing emerging trends.

Sharon Shatora, an office administrator and personal assistant to the CEO. Her tasks at Upande includes Providing customer support services as well as making follow up on clients to give feedback of their experiences with our products and services.She helps in handling office tasks, supporting employees by facilitating interdepartmental communications and interactions between internal and external parties, bookkeeping, assisting in proposal writing and general logistics. Sharon has been working with Upande Limited since 2018.

Newton's primary focus an a back-end engineer is on utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as Frappe, IoT, and ERP to develop and maintain robust solutions. His work is centered around optimizing system performance, ensuring data security, and creating seamless APIs. He is dedicated to building and maintaining the core infrastructure to drive the success of our data-driven services.

Moses is a junior IoT engineer at Upande Limited. His work involves testing the different sensor solutions before deployment. He is also involved in research for various solutions needed by customers. Upon deployment, he works on the back-end processing of the data for presentation. Aside from work, he enjoys drawing, gaming and reading novels.

Harold Zagunis, currently volunteers as a Stanford Seed Coach while also continuing to work as an independent consultant to a limited number of clients. He has served in various roles in different companies including Redwood Trust Inc, Landmark Land Company, Inc and TripplePoint Capital LLC. He received a Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Greg Moser brings over 20 years of experience in leading multi-cultural organizations in adverse conditions, multinational operations, business unit growth, supply chain management and board level planning. Greg is a true people’s manager, an excellent communicator with strategic planning, financial analysis and operations for delivery as core skills.

Jaap Jan Verboom is the founder and director of Agribusiness Booster which grows pre-growth SME companies in developing countries for social impact. He started as an ICT entrepreneur but transitioned to ICCO where he worked for 8 years as a regional manager of large projects. Jaap Jan brings valuable insights into sustainable, scalable agriculture driven businesses.
